Professional Background
Throughout my clinical work, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including private practices, community-based clinics, and hospital outpatient programs. These experiences have allowed me to build a solid foundation in working with children, adolescents, and families dealing with a wide range of clinical presentations. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), identity exploration, anger management, autism spectrum disorder, posttraumatic symptoms, perinatal mental health struggles, and personality disorders.

Approach to Treatment
My approach to therapy is rooted in a psychodynamic orientation, which helps me to understand and conceptualize the challenges faced by children and their families. At the same time, I employ an integrative therapy approach that includes evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have experience in providing these interventions in various formats, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Assessment
In addition to my clinical work, I have a strong interest in conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments. I believe that comprehensive assessments are crucial as they provide essential diagnostic information that guides treatment planning. My experience includes completing assessments have addressed a wide range of clinical presentations, including neurodevelopmental challenges, developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, emotional disturbances, learning disability, psychological functioning, and memory deterioration. In addition to addressing the referral questions and concerns, assessments play a crucial role in identifying an individual’s strengths, which is essential for fostering ongoing growth and development.

Personal Life
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, going to concerts, and hanging out with my dog and cats.
